WARRANTY TERMS

Flex A Fab may modify or discontinue these warranties at any time. Any change applies only to purchases made on or after the date of the change. Purchases made before a change remain covered by the version of the warranty in effect on the date of purchase.

All warranties below apply to the original purchaser and are not transferable. This does not affect any rights a subsequent owner may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

UTV PRODUCTS — 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Each Flex A Fab UTV product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Alteration or modification of the product;
  • Use of a wiper or squeegee on the material;
  • Scratches;
  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, or improper maintenance or cleaning procedures;
  • Damage resulting from incorrect installation; or
  • Hardware, accessories or other components not manufactured by Flex A Fab. These are covered by their own manufacturer's warranty.

Inspection on delivery: Please inspect all products for damage, defects or missing parts promptly after you receive them, and notify Flex A Fab at sales@flexafab.com as soon as possible if you find a problem.

Remedy: If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, Flex A Fab will, at its option, repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price. Do not return a product until Flex A Fab has authorized the return.

Safe installation and use: Unless installation by Flex A Fab is included on the invoice, Flex A Fab does not install UTV products on your vehicle. Windshields and other accessories can affect visibility, airflow and the operation of your machine. It is the customer's responsibility to install the product correctly according to the instructions, to check that it is securely fastened and does not interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle before use, and to inspect it regularly. Flex A Fab cannot be held liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from incorrect installation or from operating the vehicle with an improperly installed product.

BOAT FRAME REPAIR WINDSHIELDS

90-Day Workmanship Warranty

Flex A Fab warrants that its windshield boat frame repair services will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of service. This warranty covers defects in the windshield panel, including cracking, separation of the windshield from the frame caused by the repair, and overall build quality. When installation by Flex A Fab is included on the invoice, our installation workmanship is also covered for ninety (90) days from the date of installation.

5-Year UV Warranty — Hard-Coat AR Only

Panels identified as Hard-Coat AR on the invoice or order confirmation are warranted against yellowing, discoloration or hazing caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation for five (5) years from the date of purchase. Panels in any other material do not include a UV warranty.

Warranty Remedy

For each of the first two approved claims, Flex A Fab will, at its option, either:

  • Supply a brand-new windshield panel made to the same dimensions as the original Flex A Fab panel, based on the template measurements from the original order; or
  • Refund the amount paid to Flex A Fab for the affected panel and the associated repair service, including applicable taxes, once the panel is returned to Flex A Fab.

Replacement panels are shipped at no charge to addresses in Canada. Shipping outside Canada is paid by the customer, except where required by law. Replacement panels must be installed by the customer. Flex A Fab does not reimburse third-party removal, installation or labour costs.

A maximum of two (2) replacement panels may be supplied under these warranties. A replacement panel does not restart the original warranty period.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Scratches occurring after delivery;
  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, misuse, abuse, neglect, or alteration of the repaired frame or windshield;
  • Damage caused by catastrophic storms, natural disasters or other acts of God, including hail and impacts from debris or other objects;
  • Small shiny dots or lines that may appear in the Hard-Coat AR coating near sharp curves of the frame. This known cosmetic effect is disclosed before purchase, affects only the coating and not the strength of the panel, and is not a warranty defect or a valid reason for return;
  • Damage caused by chemical exposure, corrosive substances, or improper maintenance or cleaning;
  • Damage resulting from the installation of non-original or incompatible parts;
  • Damage, deterioration or defects in the original frame, structural bars, rubber, seals, hinges or hardware, which are not manufactured by Flex A Fab;
  • Separation of the panel from the frame caused by the condition of the original frame, rubber or seals, or by removal or installation by the customer or a third party; or
  • Installation, removal, labour, diagnostic, travel or other repair-related costs, except where required by law.

Safe Installation and Use

A frame repair is a repair of your existing windshield. Unless installation by Flex A Fab is included on the invoice, Flex A Fab repairs the windshield in your original frame but does not install it on your boat, and reinstalling the windshield on the boat is the customer's responsibility.

Before using the boat, towing it or exposing it to high speeds and strong winds, make sure the windshield is securely mounted and that the frame, fasteners, hinges and mounting hardware are in safe condition. Flex A Fab cannot be held liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from incorrect installation or unsafe mounting by the customer or a third party, or from the condition of the original frame, hardware or boat. When Flex A Fab installs the windshield, check regularly that it stays securely mounted, especially before towing or high-speed use.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

Email sales@flexafab.com with the following information:

  • Proof of purchase: a copy of your original receipt or order confirmation;
  • Order number: the number assigned to your order;
  • Full name: the name of the original purchaser as it appears on the proof of purchase;
  • Photos or videos: clear images of the problem, plus photos of the complete panel and frame; and
  • Description: how and when the problem occurred.

Photos first: We evaluate every claim from photos first. Do not send any product to Flex A Fab unless we ask you to, and never send the original frame unless we specifically request it.

Return shipping: If we ask you to send a part for inspection, you ship it at your own cost. If the problem is covered by this warranty, we will cover that return shipping (prepaid label or reimbursement of approved costs). Return shipping coverage applies to customers in Canada only, except where required by law.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

These warranties are in addition to the legal warranties and consumer rights provided by applicable provincial, territorial, state or federal law. Nothing on this page excludes or limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
