    HOW OUR PROCESS WORKS

See how easy our console windshield ordering process is below.

    COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It's difficult to give an exact number, but it's safe to say there are thousands of different boat models currently in existence. Each one has is different, even with the same manufacturer and year. Following the different manufacturing specs for each model, year and series is practically impossible unfortunately. You'll need to measure your console, or your current old windshield so we can send you the proper windshield. Returns are always a hassle!

Simply check the estimated time for manufacturing boat windshields on the top of the website.

We use our specialty material based on Polycarbonate. It is shatterproof, optic quality and UV resistant ensuring a long life for your new console windshield!

As there are thousands of boats on the market, and even more windshields, creating a mold would simply be too expensive. We have created a way to make old boat windshields without needing an expensive mold. A cost we avoid is a cost you save!

Unfortunately we do not have any replacement pins in our inventory. You can easily find these pins online.

    2001 Chaparral 200 SSE

One of the curved sections of my boat's windshield shattered when a tree fell over onto the roof over my boat during a hurricane. As an older boat, no local dealership nor the Chaparral factory could help me with a replacement. Flex A Fab came through with flying colors. I simply disassembled the windshield, shipped them the curved section frame, and they promptly shipped the frame back to me with new glass (Lexan). It looks great!

    Way better than New

My 2024 Princecraft Ventura 192 came with a Polyacrylimide windsheld. The curved shape included a bend near the top that served as a Wind Deflector and Stiffner. The bend caused severe visual distortion that resulted in a blind band across the full width of the winshield which at some point caused problems to everyone who operated the boat. Rather than try to live with this safety problem I ended up working with Flexa A Fab to build a replacement windshield using a Scartch Resistant Polycarbonate. The polycarbonate is much stronger and allowed for constuction of the windshield without the need for the bend at the top. We also added several inches more height to compensate for the loss of the wind deflection provided by the bend. Elimination of the bend at the top eliminated the blid spot. I still have to test the new windshield "on the water and at speed" however my initial impression is that the visual clarity is excellent and that removal of the bend has eliminated that blind spot. I did se and view is excellent. I did send the windshield and aluminum track to Flex A Fab to ensure that the windshield would fit the console properly. The only minor glitch was that the support bracket holes were undersized by approx. 1 mm and I had to ream them to accept the original fastners. Everything else fitted precisely making for a simple reinstall.

    Great product

We sent in two boat windows frames that were bent and missing parts. They installed the plastic, fixed the frame and sent them back looking like new.
